Urban Design Study | Hazel Park, michigan
Contract work with D.S Archives
As a contract designer with D.S Archives, I contributed detailed 3D modeling support to an urban design study in Hazel Park, Michigan, helping the planning team and stakeholders visualize future public spaces with precision and clarity.
In this community park urban design study, I developed a detailed site model that helped bring the design vision to life. Working from provided specifications, I incorporated precise timber dimensions for pavilions and benches, laid out paver patterns and sidewalk alignments, added signage elements, and populated the scene with curated café seating figures. The result was a human-scaled representation that supported design refinement, stakeholder presentations, and community feedback sessions.
This contract project strengthened my ability to deliver clean, information-rich models under real-world deadlines while balancing technical accuracy with visual storytelling—skills I continue to apply in academic work and future professional collaborations.
